Andover RFC - Youth Academy
About Us
This is our second season of full youth rugby. We train on a Wednesday evening from 6.30 to 8.30 and on Sundays we meet at 9.45 so we can train from 10.00 until 12.00. Fixtures usually Kick Off at 11.00 and are played both home and away.
We play other teams from around the county in the Hampshire U15's league and will visit other clubs (home and away) from nearby counties. Most of all it is about playing the game of rugby and having fun while playing safely and successfully.
We always welcome new faces that can bring something new to the game and our qualified coaching team will help all newcomers get up to speed while developing and extending the abilities of established team members. We currently have some squad team members being considered as potential Hampshire County U14 players and also joining the London Irish Development Programme.
We coach contact rugby and therefore any new players will need a gumshield, available from the club shop. Kit can be bought from the club shop or from our Second Hand kit store, The Shed.
