Andover U 16 56 Tottonians 0

UK web media sponsored Andover U 16 continued their solid start to the season with an impressive display at home to Tottonians last Sunday.

The young ‘All Blacks’ played some lovely fast flowing rugby to run in ten tries against opposition who play a division above Andover at adult level and are regarded as one of the most progressive clubs around.

Andover are working hard in training on developing their structure and team work and it showed in this one, as the team attacked and defended very well collectively.

A hat trick of tries for the impressive Ed Bilborough led the way for Andover and there was a brace each from Harry Everett and Jake Meek.

Bryn Waite capped a fine display with a neat try, as did Sam Crofts and Myles Wakeham.

Bilborough also managed one conversion and Tommy Lloyd two, in a game where the lively Finlay Anderson took the man of the match award in his first game at number eight.

Lloyd and skipper Sean Higgins ran the game at half back, Dan Gregory carried well and Dean Smith as always was excellent in the tight and around the park in a very good win.
