HAMPSHIRE U17’S PLATE FINAL
Andover 20 Portsmouth 17
Newcotech sponsored Andover U17’s welcomed Portsmouth RFC to a sun blessed Hants County Plate final at the Goodship ground on Sunday. The home side elected to play against both the slope and blustery wind in the first half. A strong Portsmouth side soon put Andover under pressure, pinning them deep in their own half. For the next 20 minutes, Andover defended well and stopped Portsmouth just short of their try line several times.

Match Report - Winchester
Winchester 17 Andover 24
Cricketers Arms Tangley Sponsored Andover made it four wins in a row with a 24-17 away win over Winchester. Although a “friendly” fixture this was a hard fought and physical game, with no quarter given or asked.
Skipper and Man of the Match Alex Hibdige led from the front, rallying his pack to their best performance of the season. The backs following tyro Fly half Billy Pollards lead moved the ball at every opportunity, with backs man of the match Jack Stott linking well from fullback with some strong runs with ball in hand.
