Parents and Spectators
- Never force a child to play rugby
- Always remember children play rugby for their enjoyment not yours
- Encourage your child to play by the ruleslaws (often referred to as the continuum)
- Teach your child that victory isn't everything
- NEVER yell at a player for making a mistake
- Applaud good play - by either team
- Encourage your child to improve his/her skills through coaching
- Staff off the pitch
- Don't abuse anyone (especially the referee)
Coaches
- Be reasonable
- Teach players to play by the LawsContinuum
- Avoid mismatches
- DON'T favour your best players
- Never condemn
- Being coached should be fun too
- Ensure the right equipment and facilities are available and used correctly during traing sessions
- Give your voice a rest from time to time
- Be generous wiht praise
- Good coaching means your team will run with the ball

- It's your players and their desire to play rugby that matters - not their lost/won record
